��߲�ӰԺ is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Principal Scientist with expertise in metabolic disorders to focus on scientific leadership, driving innovative research, and collaborating with internal teams and clients to advance drug discovery projects. The position is fully onsite and offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the progression of science.

Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee in vivo pharmacology and drug discovery programs.
Mentor and guide team members while fostering innovation in experimental and technological approaches.
Act as a Project Lead, coordinating the delivery of high-quality scientific outcomes.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to design and execute complex drug discovery projects.
Address scientific and technical challenges with innovative problem-solving skills.
Ensure compliance with UK/European legislation governing in vivo research and oversee experimental designs.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Advanced degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field alongside a strong background in drug discovery.
Expert knowledge in metabolic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiometabolic conditions, with hands-on experience in in vivo pharmacological research methods.
Deep knowledge of the drug discovery process and current therapeutic landscape.
Familiarity with UK/European regulations for in vivo research and experience in designing and overseeing studies.
Expertise in designing and setting up of In Vivo model studies supporting drug discovery programs
Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Strong organizational and data management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
